So…after almost 9 years in Bangkok, we’ve officially made the transition back to our farm in Sisaket to focus full-time on our rice and gingerbeer cultivation/production activities. Our time in Bangkok saw us through several ups and downs as we tried to build one of the first social enterprises in Thailand focused on food and agriculture. We learned a lot, made many new friends and customers, strove hard to constantly improve the quality of our products, and worked near non-stop to build our reputation as a company that actually cares about what we do.
This has been a move 5 years in the making, and we’re excited to finally be able to begin working closely on the various experiments that our customers have been asking us to try, a range of new growing methods for our rice to enable us to deal with increasing rainfall uncertainty, and a more active role in the cultivation of the various ingredients we require for our gingerbeer. We’re also working on opening a space here for F.lab and still chipping away at the development of our organic traceability system.
Our office is now closed in BKK, and will re-open again shortly in Sisaket…all our emails and mobile numbers remain the same though. Please note though that that also means that we might not be able to answer your call/email immediately, as we’ll likely be out in the paddies enjoying the clean air and sunshine. And, as always, you’re welcome to visit us on the farm, but please drop us an message first so that we know you’re coming and can make sure we’re around.
